The Friends of Heirloom Flowers Garden Club is a volunteer garden club that has brought nature back to The Shinn Historical Park and Arboretum one of Fremont's historical parks. FOHFGC was founded in 1994 by Eva Ricciarelli and is a not-for-profit club and part of the Bay Bridges District of the California Garden Clubs. We have received numerous awards from CGCI both for our gardens and for our members and continue to strive to maintain this standard of excellence.
Our members volunteer their time weekly to redesign and beautify the flower gardens at Shinn Historical Park & Arboretum. We invite you to join us on Tuesday morning at 10 a.m. at Shinn Park. You can just show up or call Caryl at 557-9246 for more information!
We hold our membership meetings the 3rd Wednesday of the month - quarterly - January, March, June and December where we often feature speakers on a variety of gardening topics. We have a regular schedule of field trips (open to the general public) to area gardens (both public and private) or garden-related sites. Check the Tri-city Voice for our schedule.
FOR MORE INFORMATION ABOUT OUR CLUB, CALL CARYL GENTILE AT 557-9246.
