Libby is about 10, and Basil is about 6. Both were rescued from the pound, so their exact ages are unknown.
Despite their size (Libby is about 100 lbs., and Basil about 110 lbs.), both are very gentle, and can be trusted with small dogs and children.
Libby (lying down in the picture) has hip dysplasia, so she moves a bit slowly, and can't always join in games with more active dogs. Instead, Libby will watch the other dogs running around her, and use a high-pitched 'play' bark. She uses the same bark with people when she wants to be petted.
Basil can be a little distracted on the trail. He loves to greet and play with other dogs, but people who want to pet him should pet Libby first (Basil will then get jealous and nose his way in to get attention).
